Ala carte ala corvids

 

 

Admittedly not good pics…still, this adorable crow couple honored me with their public display of affection. I watched them for several minutes roll onto their sides alongside one another, & grab each other’s feet, tails, wing feathers with their own feet. Precious.

 

 

Some serious hummingbird action…I swear they’re the inspiration for George Lucas…  x-wing fighters, man. The cowbirds are already more frequent visitors than last spring. Cute!

So obsessed with moss…my backyard is woods, & more woods.

 

Someone recently told me that, when it comes to relationships with squirrels, crows are homicidal maniacs.  Not around these parts…
