I am vegan because I know that in an essential, defining respect, that I am NOT superior to the other animals I share this planet with.
I know that other animals are just like me….sentient creatures with intrinsic value…their own well-being matters to them.
This makes ALL other species into MORAL subjects…
They’re NOT objects that we can do what we want with.
Legal doesn’t mean moral.
Tradition doesn’t equate to correctness.
