Speciesism

The desire to help animals being abused or mistreated is rooted in several aspects of human nature, including empathy, compassion, & a sense of justice.
Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. You are capable of empathizing with animals and recognizing their pain and suffering. When you see an animal being mistreated, you can imagine how you would feel in their place, and this can motivate you to take action.
Compassion is a deep concern for the welfare of others. When you see an animal being abused, you feel a strong sense of compassion and a desire to alleviate their suffering. This can manifest in actions such as reporting abuse, rescuing animals, or supporting organizations that work to protect animals.
Finally, a sense of justice can also drive your desire to help animals being abused. Humans have a strong sense of fairness and a desire to see wrongs righted. When you witness animal abuse, you feel a sense of outrage that an innocent being is being mistreated and a desire to hold the abuser accountable for their actions.
Overall, the human impulse to help animals being abused is a reflection of your innate capacity for empathy, compassion, and justice. It is a recognition that animals are sentient beings capable of experiencing pain and suffering, and that you have a moral responsibility to protect and care for them.
Except the animals YOU pay for to be abused, and killed.
See speciesism for what it is.
If an abused dog escaped their abuser, would you bring the dog back and give the abuser some of your money so that they can continue abusing the dog?
If a pony was being tortured, would you pay the torturer?
If a parrot was being confined with an injury left untreated, would you open your wallet for the neglectful and abusive individual to continue?
Why do you hand fistfuls of cash to support the abuse, neglect, confinement of some animals.
Ask yourself why you would even begin to believe it was acceptable.
Ask yourself why you support animal abuse.
Again, see speciesism for what it is.
