Spring Crows

My winter wish was to photograph the crow family that visit daily.

Got my wish this morning.

During the winter, the crows frequent corn fields, & the marshes.  I hear them in the distance, sometimes see them flying by, & on occasion, they sit atop a tall hemlock in my yard.  I put food out for them twice this spring.  The bunny ate, the red & gray squirrels ate, the chipmunks, & the Jays…but, alas, no crows. This morning I was blessed with their presence.  A fresh dumping of spring Vermont snow…their inky feathers such a stunning contrast against the stark whiteness. What bliss. Just wanted to share some crowtography….

Bonus squirrel butt….
